History

Founded in 2006, Aga Khan Academy is part of a global network of academies established by the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). The Hyderabad campus is the second in this network, following the model of providing world-class education to talented students regardless of their financial background. Over the years, the academy has gained recognition for its emphasis on merit-based admission and character-focused education.  

Facilities

The academy’s campus includes well-equipped classrooms, modern science and computer labs, an extensive library, and advanced sports facilities, including a swimming pool, athletic track, and fields for various sports. Additionally, there are dedicated spaces for performing and visual arts, encouraging students to explore their creative potential.
