Banasthali Vidyapith is a premier women’s university in Tonk, Rajasthan, dedicated to empowering women through quality education. Founded with a mission to provide holistic education combining academic excellence with the development of life skills, the school emphasizes the "Panchmukhi Shiksha" philosophy, focusing on intellectual, physical, aesthetic, practical, and moral development. The institution aims to nurture confident and capable women ready to contribute to society.  

History

Banasthali Vidyapith was established in 1935 by Pandit Hiralal Shastri and Ratan Shastri in memory of their daughter, Shantabai. What began as a small institution to educate girls in rural Rajasthan has since evolved into one of the largest residential educational institutions for women in India. Over the years, it has achieved numerous milestones, including becoming a deemed university in 1983.
